Shorefront Park Living Shoreline

 In 2023, thousands of tons of armour stone was delivered to the Village of Patchogue for a “Living Shoreline” Project – one of the largest living shoreline projects in New York State. Living shorelines are a shoreline management approach that incorporates natural and nature-based features alone or in combination with structural elements. Our armor stone – large heavy rock composed of granite – can be seen throughout the entire project.
