Community Relations

We are a company that believes in its community. We’ve supported other local businesses since our inception, and throughout the years, we’ve grown relationships with community organizations and our neighbors. We live here, too, so providing for the community is not only important, it’s crucial.

DIRTY WORK

As quarry miners, one way we can help our community is provide “dirty work” assistance by doing what we do best: operating excavators, bulldozers, and loaders. This means that local organizations come to us with all kinds of requests, from providing stone to the local all-natural play area Grasshopper Grove, or placing seesaws and slides at Christian’s adventure, a local playground in memory of our beloved friend Christian Martinisi.

FIRST RESPONDERS

The rocky terrain and intense conditions at our location make us the perfect site for firefighter and emergency responder training. We are continually providing opportunities for local fire departments to train their crew.

ARMED FORCES

Callahan and Nannini Quarry is grateful for those in uniform. Every holiday season, we collect Christmas tree donations for military families as part of the nationwide effort Trees for Troops. Farmside Acres, owned by Bob Nannini, is the only collection point in Orange County and our quarry leans on its relationships with those in the construction industry to round up donations.
